Unknown island paradises Greece true wealth

Greece has many beautiful islands such as Mykonos, Corfu and Santorini. There is, however, also dozens of gems,

known only to very few tourists.
Nisyros - in the shadow of Kos
Kos is known as a party island with inviting nightlife. Not far away, Nisyros is - a paradise for vacationers
who want to have their peace. What is there to see there? A tour takes in the three crater of a volcano,
and who wants to know exactly where he was, visited the Volcano Museum. Most of the time but you spend on
fantastic beaches and thermal spas.
Angistri - favorite target of Athens
The Athenians love short trips to the smaller island Angistri with its forests, pebble beaches and crystal clear
waters. By ferry you are of Greek capital around two hours on the road, the faster it goes by hydrofoil -
in 45 minutes.
Alonnisos - dolphins and seals
On Alonissos Greece is the first Marine National Park. In addition to dolphins and rare sea birds here lives
the Mediterranean monk seal. Alonnisos can be reached Skiathos in one to two hours by ferry or catamaran from
the Celebrity Inbsel.
Paxi - rocky island next to Corfu
In the Ionian Sea Corfu is known worldwide. Equally worth seeing are the neighboring islands of Paxos and Antipaxos.
On Paxi high cliffs and coastal caves fascinate especially the divers among travelers who are by boat to explore.
Antipaxi however, can be perfectly explored on foot with a length of just three kilometers.
Inousses - Eiland near the jet-set island
Even Chios in the North Aegean the Jetset has discovered as a target. Medieval villages and beaches with deep green
water are the attractions. From there offers itself a ferry or a water taxi trip to Inousses on, a group of nine
uninhabited islands.
Iraklia and Co. - Small neighbors a large island
How strung on the string of pearls are the four neighboring islands of Naxos because: Iraklia stands for beach and
rest, Schinoussa is famous for its restaurants, Koufonisia for its white beaches. And nowhere has so spectacular
views of the deep blue of the Aegean Sea as on Donousa.
Anafi - an amphitheater
Santorini, the white town situated on the cliff of a volcanic crater, enjoys a worldwide reputation. But hardly
anyone knows the pristine Anafi to explore Santorini by ferry in around two hours. Chora, the island's old town,
located on 260 meters above sea level and looks like a huge amphitheater.
